Last week I put the finishing touches on my slide deck for my upcoming talk on the fragile state of the JavaScript supply chain/ecosystem. Yesterday we had an A/V test and realized I needed an external monitor, which I ordered right after. Here are some highlights my talk will cover:
- 94% of all active repos on GitHub rely on JavaScript
- StackOverflow: โjQuery is still kingโ
- 4.3 trillion requests, 108 petabytes transferred
- Benevolent Dictators
- Why React should be in a foundation
- No. Sleep. Till Brooklyn.
๐ Mark it on your calendars: Thursday, Sept 30th, 2021, 8 pm PST at js.la/live
๐ See you there!
