Last week I put the finishing touches on my slide deck for my upcoming talk on the fragile state of the JavaScript supply chain/ecosystem. Yesterday we had an A/V test and realized I needed an external monitor, which I ordered right after. Here are some highlights my talk will cover:

  • 94% of all active repos on GitHub rely on JavaScript
  • StackOverflow: โ€œjQuery is still kingโ€
  • 4.3 trillion requests, 108 petabytes transferred
  • Benevolent Dictators
  • Why React should be in a foundation
  • No. Sleep. Till Brooklyn.
